DH Kikkai's Fyohlr Morning WIP

::UPDATE 5:: DA wont let me make it a print since it isnt the original file. >: [ SO. I'm turning this one into the steps, and then i'll reupload the other one to make it a print.

::UPDATE 4:: The final update, December 3rd~! The painting is now finished, and watermarks and whatnot have been added. This turned out SO MUCH BETTER than I thought it would. I'll have to make a picture with all the steps (since there were more steps than updates).

I will also make this avaliable for various prints, as I am fairly proud of this painting. I've improved A LOT I think. His hair colour does look odd, I know that, but that's really his colour. I can't really do much about that Anyways! I hope you guys like it! I hope I'll be able to get more things done and out of the way too.

Also, before I forget, About ther character:
Kikkai is dead, but his amnesia is SO BAD, that his body doesn't know it is dead, so his demon energy is able to keep him moving and funtioning, thinking that he is alive. Therefore, he has MANY problems with his body - however, since he was previously a type of monkey demon, he loves dance, and has an absent-minded, carefree, and loving nature to him.

The bandages on him cover the burns he got from a collapsing building that was set ablaze while he was inside. The burns are actually only half of what killed him. The roof came down on his head, knocking loose a lot, including part of his brain - the part that remembers stuff. Even though his brain is basically mush now, electrical impulses are still able to jump from the touching tissues - the reason why, even though he is dead, he is able to continue on. He won't last long like that - dead is a limit, there isn't much past it.


::UPDATE 3:: I got surprisingly close to his skin tone... o.o the flower in the corner id screwed up though. man, its gonna suck to do his hair... and i made the bandages too dark

::UPDATE 2:: This update is a lie!!! DX... Why though? Well, it's his skin tone! It's all wrong! XD It's just the first layer, un-lightened and not shaded much. At least everything's inked now though. I couldn't sleep last night, so I did art instead... In anycase, his skin tone will be getting darker.

::UPDATE 1:: It looks more and more like Kyle chose his clothes, considering the design. I can't wait to finish him~

::~:: I haven't drawn this character since I was 11~ His name is Kikkai, and I would have to say that he is one of my favourite characters.
